secular humanist religion on rise

Monday, June 27th, 2011

The society that we live in today is inconceivable for the generations that went before it. Who could have thought that we would be living in such drastic changing social circumstances? The moral, family values that were once considered as foundational to domestic civil order have now been put into question or altogether revised. It is old-fashioned to believe such a way, to do this or that. We are at the forefront of a new era, ever improving upon the trial-and-error social problems,  and relying on our changing cultural identity.

We are living in a world that takes for granted the laws and provisions handed down, from true and tried principles to relativistic ideology and variant diversity in tolerance. It is the multi-culturalism and political parties dichotomy and scenario, built into a military-industrial complex of Western society.

New and different religions are on the rise. If not new, it is different, the remaking of the old to suite modern man and his new idea and vision for man. The Bible is interpreted in a new way. What I feel is right was not right for previous generations, but I insist on it being right, for me and the people around me agree with the new message of hope. The Creator cannot send anyone to Hell because He is all-loving.

The old-religion was sentimental and rigid. It is for the weak-minded, reactionary individuals, whose effort it was to cast fear among the population for control. If there is ever a good and strong religious fundamental principle today, it is in the power of the human spirit and the liberation from all forms of tyranny, even psychological tyranny of punishment ideology of a God.

It is not feeling sorry for oneself and not feeling remorse for one’s actions that are goals to be realized. It is about the strength of the individual and the power of making decisions based on an informed conscience.

It is secular humanist religion, that wants to overthrow the old-time religion.

Zeitgeist Is Misleading You

interesting to note–

Why the direct attack on Christianity in Zeitgeist The Movie Part 1 (part one on religion)? It insinuates that the story of Jesus is merely a drop in the bucket of many saviors with the same story. That they were all born on Dec 25th, crucified, resurrected ect.

Dr. Norman Geisler writes, “The first real parallel of a dying and rising god does not appear until A.D. 150, more than a hundred years after the origin of Christianity.

Dr. Gary Habermas and Dr. J.P. Moreland write, “Not one clear case of any alleged resurrection teaching appears in any pagan text before the late second century A.D., almost one hundred years after the New Testament was written.”

Charlie Campbell says, “To insist that Jesus Christ is a myth—that He never existed—as the Zeitgeist movie does, is foolish. Beside the twenty seven New Testament documents that verify He lived, there are thirty nine sources outside of the Bible, written within 150 years of Jesus life that mention Him. These sources include the Jewish Talmud, the Roman historian Tacitus, the Didache, Flavius Josephus, Pliny the Younger, Suetonius, the Gnostic gospels (e.g., the gospel of Thomas), etc. These extrabiblical sources reveal to us more than 100 facts about His life, teaching, death and even resurrection.”

Who’s behind the UFO phenomenon? A Catholic perspective, part 2

Good or Bad, Who Are the Angels?

Albert Einstein, asked shortly before his death what he thought about the origin of UFO’s, said: “The UFO’s are piloted by men who left the earth 10,000 years ago.” Plainly, they are a link in the revelation and the accreditation of the New Religion, the religion of Man. It is necessary to bear in mind, however, that, in the creation narrative, Sacred Scripture only speaks to us of two kinds of intellectual natures: the angelic and the human. There are no others.

Here is how Christian theology, in the person of Bishop Gaume in his Treatise on the Holy Ghost, introduces the existence of angels:

The wisest observation of divine laws proclaims this axiom: there is no leap in nature, nor rupture in the chain of beings. At the same time, it demonstrates that, in this magnificent chain, man cannot be the last link. God is the Ocean of Life. He diffuses it under all forms: vegetative, animal, intellectual. According as it is more or less abundant, life marks the hierarchical degree of beings. Now, it is more abundant as the being approaches nearer to God. Thus, in order to gather to Himself, by the necessary degrees, all creation descended from Him, the Almighty, whose infinite Wisdom delighted in the formation of the universe, has drawn from nothing several types of creatures: some both visible and purely material, such as the earth, water, plants; others both visible and invisible, material and immaterial, men; and finally others, invisible and immaterial, the angels. No less than the others, the latter are, then, a necessity of creation. Let us listen, on this subject, to one of the greatest theologians: “I answer that,” says St. Thomas, “there must be some incorporeal creatures. For what is principally intended by God in creatures is good, and this consists in assimilation to God Himself. And the perfect assimilation of an effect to a cause is accomplished when the effect imitates the cause according to that whereby the cause produces the effect. Now, God produces the creature by His intellect and will. Hence the perfection of the universe requires that there should be intellectual creatures…and of an incorporeal creature.”1

The angels are purely spiritual beings whose intellectual and volitional activity is not hampered by a body, nor subordinated in its exercise to organs or to the power of emotions, as is the human soul, which is the form of the body and composes with it a being whose spiritual activity can only be exercised by means of a body. This state of human intelligence is an inferior state which places man on the last rung of the scale of intelligences. “Nothing is in the understanding that is not first in the senses,” runs the Scholastic adage. St. Paul expresses the same truth when he says: “For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made” (Rom. 1:20). As for the angel, he is endowed with a nature more perfect than ours. He has no need of sensible things to raise himself to the perception of intellectual truths. He is an admirable likeness of the Divinity, and it suffices for him to contemplate his own being and nature in order to attain to the knowledge of God and of His divine attributes.

The understanding’s mode of apprehension still occurs by means of representation. But while for man, it is the exterior and material creatures that serve as a mirror [because nothing is in the intellect unless first in the senses-.Ed.], for the angel, it is his own intelligible nature. Nevertheless, although he is a pure spirit, the angel lacks the power to attain to the knowledge of God directly and without intermediary, face to face. What makes all the difference between the good angels and the bad, or demons, is that the good angels, by their submission and now elevation in glory, have access to truths and splendors of the supernatural order and of the beatific vision of God, whereas the bad angels, by their pride, are deprived of them, while conserving, because of their angelic nature, the understanding of truths of the natural order.

Jacques F. Vallee admits of preternatural and interdimensional reality to UFO phenomenon

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

All efforts to break open the mystery so far have made the assumption that the “big secret” merely involves extraterrestrial spacecraft put together with metal and rivets. This partial view is supported by the many instances in which UFOs have been seen by pilots, photographed, and tracked on radar. Yet modern physical theory opens up a much wider, richer spectrum of hypotheses for objects that might blink in and out of perception, impact the consciousness of witnesses, accelerate without creating sonic booms, change shape, and merge with one another dynamically. Concepts of higher dimensionality, once on the fringes of physics, have entered the mainstream of science. Given what we know about the universe today, it is irrational to assume it can be described with one three dimensions of space and one dimension of time.

The UFO witnesses are telling us they have experienced objects of vast complexity that challenged their sense of reality. Such observations are anomalous in the narrow sense of the classical physics we learn in school, but they may help build a conceptual framework for the physics of the twenty-first century. It is all the more important then, as Richard Dolan points out, to make a precise assessment of what the most reliable witnesses have observed, and to seriously start looking for the missing parts of this famous puzzle. UFOs have been with us since the beginning of recorded history. Could they be trying to tell us who we are, and what true place we are destined to occupy in the universe?

Need-to-Know: the UFO disclosure song

Monday, June 7th, 2010

WhoIsLikeUntoGod website is also dedicated to tackling the New Age Movement issue, especially in UFO phenomenology. X-Conference 2010 announced the title to the song of the UFO disclosure movement as we “Need-to-Know”.

Quite appropriate for the situation that Ufologists are in, as well as for Christians. The expectation that we “Need-to-Know” song puts us in birth pang for the “age of Aquarius” to come. Quite literally, for the New Agers, it is an age of prosperity and development for mankind, as well as problems associated with increasing scientific and cultural awareness. According to Wikipedia, “Aquarius traditionally “rules” electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealists, modernization, rebels and rebellion, mental diseases, nervous disorders, and astrology. Other keywords and ideas believed associated with Aquarius are nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, mankind and irresolution.”

Amusingly, for Christians, we are expecting a full head-on encounter with inter-dimensional beings, also known as “aliens”, “extraterrestrials”, “little green men”. We do not quite know what to expect in terms of governmental, economical, and political exposure to such marvel and encounter of the third kind. Should we only stop at the “encounter-of-the-third-kind”?

Our Christian religion tells us what we can expect from the religious and spiritual side for the whole upcoming event, that a deception will be quite profound that if it were possible, even the elect will be deceived. What we can do, at times, is to rely on prophecy made in the past concerning aerial phenomenon and marvels that are taking place in the heavens.

New Age phenomenon

The New Age phenomenon is that which seeks an answer to man’s spiritual existence with that of science and technology. It is a creation of a new utopia, a world of limitless resource and scientific advances.

During these confusing times, with the radical changes to the way of life in society, people have sought answer to the meaning of their existence with constant pursuit of knowledge and science. This is ultimately the plan of the devil, to preoccupy man’s mind with the things of this world rather than the things of the next life.

With the whole situation of the new philosophy to the way of life, the pursuit of everlasting existence in the mortal body, the far-out destiny of man to reach the outermost of the galaxy, the New Age religion incorporates ideas of Christianity and teachings of Eastern religions with that of nature. It is by far to most alluring new religion for the fast changing, multicultural world due to globalization.

In the generations of near-death experiences, we are presented with accounts of eternal happiness without a direct vision of God, which counters the old religion of dogma, of apostolicity, and of public revelation.

The New Age religion is front line movement for theosophy and the UFO phenomenon.

All the expectations amount to creating a world now without the basis of the truth of a fallen world, a world that needs redemption for the sins of humanity, a world that can only be restored with orthodoxy in the hearts of man with the belief in Jesus Christ.

Man’s spiritual existence can only come about through sanctifying grace.

So do not be deceived, for the devil can come as an angel of light.

(2 Corinthians 11:14)
