Richard Dawkins calls for the arrest of Benedict XVI. What exactly does Richard Dawkins call for anyway? Is it legal justice? Whose laws and why? It’s ironic that the laws of nature and society have universal principle based on the moral law. The law of society is either good or bad according to the light of the moral law found in nature and in the revelation of God, and how it conforms with reason and the intellect of an average man.

The problem with society today is the democratic process of formulating law against natural and moral standard. What was considered a moral or social evil by the previous generation is now more or less permissible for the personal right of each human person. It is by the vote of the majority that counts, at the expense of those who favor objective truth apart from mass consent. Judgment was made on the principle of divine revelation and truth found in nature. Now, it is the favorable precedence in recent judgment by courts and law-makers. With a pass of legislation, anything that is suitable is accepted without guilty conscience.

How do atheists or evolutionists explain the rational soul or the rational intellect in the human person? They can’t. The presume that it naturally occurred as a result of evolution. Evolution by natural selection, competition, death, and destruction. That is the reality on the judgment of every human person. But how is it that atheists or evolutionists call for a legal justice that has its basis on the world that was created and kept by random chance?

Strangely enough, the institution of the Vatican has been seen by the world for its lack of accountability, its moral evil, and its corruption. The Church that does not teach sound doctrine will inevitably fail at moral truth. Just like other religious denominations, it will falter in its presentation of moral truth, especially when it claims to derive its truths from God and revelation.

But that matters not, because the Church is filled with homosexual priests, may still be hidden, is the problem that needs to be resolved. Gay men should not be priests, especially those who work with children. Men who are emotional and psychological mature enough should only be permitted to be pastors in the Church.

In conclusion, hypocrisy is on both sides. The media ridicules the hypocrisy of an institution that is supposedly the defender of moral truths, while society is promiscuous even on moral standard. Atheists and evolutionists call for justice when the only explanation is natural selection, competition, death, and destruction, as the result of evolution.
