In Portugal the dogma of Faith will always be kept?
It seems not so, and now Portugal has rejected even the natural law. Same-sex marriage is now been legally ratified into law in Portugal. Portugal follows behind Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden and Norway, in legalizing same-sex marriage, earning it the sixth place in Europe.
It is said that Portugal is around 90 percent Catholic. That is, there are about 2 million people out of 10.6 million who said they are practicing Catholics. It is obvious that in Portugal, the dogma of the Faith has been rejected, because when civil law rejects the very fundamental principle of the natural law, it is the result of the rejection of the infallible dogma of the Church.
The current Socialist republic of Portugal has legalized abortion back in 2007.
What further evidence do we need of the diabolical influence taking rounds in the political schema, the governing body of the country, and mass deception among the people?
Did I mention divorce too? In Portugal, it is legal to have a divorce even when one of the spouses objects. That has been since 2008.
This is all part of the modernization of Portugal and the Vatican does not mention a single spiritual matter of the situation, even when the Vatican would like to show some form of social criticism and/or a negative response. Like a slap in the hand, for Portugal, for being a bad example in the world.
But who can blame Portugal for exercising its right to religious liberty and conscience based on human dignity? After all, Vatican II calls for it.
Perhaps, the dogma of Faith is being preserved by few individuals in Portugal. We can only hope and pray.
