Religious Liberty From the Edict of Milan

Tuesday, February 7th, 2012

Has religious liberty for all been allowed before in Rome?

Here’s a sample of “The Edict of Milan”:

When I, Constantine Augustus, as well as I, Licinius Augustus, fortunately met near Mediolanurn (Milan), and were considering everything that pertained to the public welfare and security, we thought, among other things which we saw would be for the good of many, those regulations pertaining to the reverence of the Divinity ought certainly to be made first, so that we might grant to the Christians and others full authority to observe that religion which each preferred; whence any Divinity whatsoever in the seat of the heavens may be propitious and kindly disposed to us and all who are placed under our rule. And thus by this wholesome counsel and most upright provision we thought to arrange that no one whatsoever should be denied the opportunity to give his heart to the observance of the Christian religion, of that religion which he should think best for himself, so that the Supreme Deity, to whose worship we freely yield our hearts) may show in all things His usual favor and benevolence. Therefore, your Worship should know that it has pleased us to remove all conditions whatsoever, which were in the rescripts formerly given to you officially, concerning the Christians and now any one of these who wishes to observe Christian religion may do so freely and openly, without molestation. We thought it fit to commend these things most fully to your care that you may know that we have given to those Christians free and unrestricted opportunity of religious worship. When you see that this has been granted to them by us, your Worship will know that we have also conceded to other religions the right of open and free observance of their worship for the sake of the peace of our times, that each one may have the free opportunity to worship as he pleases; this regulation is made we that we may not seem to detract from any dignity or any religion.

Catholic Liberals and religious liberty

Tuesday, July 26th, 2011

Obviously, the insistence of the Popes upon the rights of truth is anathema to contemporary Liberalism in which unrestricted Liberty, including the liberty to propagate error, is the supreme norm. This liberty had been proclaimed in the Masonically inspired Rights of Man of the French Revolution and was subjected to one resignation only, the demands of public order. Papal teaching on the right of a Catholic state to repress error was embarrassing to such Catholic Liberals as Father Murray who wished to make Catholicism acceptable to contemporary American society. He was, no doubt, sincere in his efforts and considered them to be for the good of the Church. His principal argument was that the teaching of the Popes which has just been cited was related to a particular period in the history of the Church and was not of permanent validity. He was answered by no less an authority than Cardinal Ottaviani in an important article which appeared in the May 1953 issue of the American Ecclesiastical Review:

The first fault of these persons consists in their failure to accept fully the arma veritatis and the teaching which the Roman Pontiffs during the past century, and particularly the reigning Pontiff Pius XII, have given to Catholics on this subject in encyclical letters, allocutions, and instructions of various kinds.

To justify themselves these people assert that in the body of teaching imparted within the Church there are to be distinguished two elements, the one permanent, and the other transient. The latter is supposed to be due to the reflection of particular contemporary conditions.

Unfortunately, they carry this tactic so far as to apply it to the principles taught in pontifical documents, principles on which the teachings of the Popes have remained constant so as to make these principles a part of the patrimony of Catholic doctrine.

Pius XII on religious liberty and liberty of conscience

Saturday, July 23rd, 2011
Pope Pius XII in his discourse Ecco che gia un anno, of 6 October 1946, that:

The Catholic Church, as we have already said, is a perfect society and has as its foundation the truth of Faith infallibly revealed by God. For this reason, that which is opposed to this truth is, necessarily, an error, and the same rights which are objectively recognized for truth cannot be afforded to error. In this manner, liberty of thought and liberty of conscience have their essential limits in the truthfulness of God in Revelation.

Father Connell in an article in the American Ecclesiastical Review in 1964:

Some have tried to argue that while error has no rights, persons inculpably holding erroneous doctrines have the right to hold them. But it must be borne in mind that error can be believed, spread, and activated only by persons and so it is difficult to see what it would mean to say “error has no right to be spread” if one held at the same time “persons can have a right to spread error”– that is if “right” be taken in the same sense in both statements… How can one have a genuine right to believe, spread, or practice what is objectively false or morally wrong? For a genuine right is based on what is objectively true and good.

Comment: It is a matter of fact that these principles are not followed by the new teachings of religious liberty and liberty of conscience as taught by the Vatican II documents and the subsequent conciliar popes.

Benedict XVI promotes the rights of all religions?

Monday, May 16th, 2011

Benedict XVI’s May 16, 2011 Address to Latin-rite Indian bishops: “The Christian life in such societies always demands honesty and sincerity about one’s own beliefs, and respect for those of one’s neighbor… as Indian Christians strive to live in peace and harmony with their neighbours of other beliefs, your prudent leadership will be crucial in the civil and moral task of working to safeguard the fundamental human rights of freedom of religion and freedom of worship. As you know, these rights are based upon the common dignity of all human beings and are recognized throughout the concert of nations. The Catholic Church strives to promote these rights for all religions throughout the world. I encourage you, therefore, to work patiently to establish the common ground necessary for the harmonious enjoyment of these basic rights in your communities. Even if he encounters opposition, the Christian’s own charity and forbearance should serve to convince others of the rightness of religious tolerance, from which the followers of all religions stand to gain.”

It is without question that we post comments from conciliar popes which are problematic in light of the truth and the teachings of the Church. The so-called rights for all religions don’t exist. It is a make-believe fantasy which masks itself with the colorful manifestation of peace and tolerance, that which is for the common good of people and society.

Such fantasy or deception is an insanity as taught by previous popes.

PAUL VI beatified? Stop the beatification and canonization process!

PAUL VI beatified? — 328 pages

The book that stopped the beatification process of Paul VI

Now made available in English. First published in 1998 by Editrice Civilta of Brescia, Italy and written by award winning author, Father Luigi Villa, Doctor of Dogmatic Theology.

What is the significance of this book?

• Father Luigi Villa was commissioned by Padre Pio and given a papal mandate from Pope Pius XII to dedicate his life to defend the Catholic Church from the work of Freemasonry – most especially Ecclesiastical Freemasonry.

• Padre Pio warned Father Villa, in their second meeting in 1963, to be brave as Freemasonry had already invaded the Catholic Church and had even “made it into the shoes of the Pope!” The reigning pope of the time was Paul VI.

• Playing the “Devil’s Advocate” (as was once a requirement in the process for beatification),

Father Villa answered the call of Cardinal Ruini, Vicar of the Pope for the city of Rome, who had issued an “Edict,” appearing in the diocesan weekly “Roma Sette” on May 13, 1992, which, “invited every single faithful to communicate to us directly … any information” which, in any way, may argue against the reputation of sanctity of the said “Servant of God” by writing this book.

• This book is based on the critical study of thousands of pages of encyclicals, speeches, Conciliar documents, historical journals, commentaries and magazines.

• It was written in order “to transmit, … the “truth”, in order to remain faithful to the Faith of Jesus Christ, Our Lord, which is transmitted by His Church, sole “custodian” of the “Depositum Fidei”!

Anne McGinn Cillis, a spiritual daughter of Padre Pio, Franciscan tertiary and author of “Arrivederci, Padre Pio – A Spiritual Daughter Remembers” stated in regards to this book:

“In my opinion, it is perhaps the most important book ever to be written in our time! … It reinforces that the New Mass is “The Great Sacrilege” as written by Father James Wathen.”

the TRUE reason the Conciliar pope pleads for religious freedom?

Thursday, December 16th, 2010

offer heartfelt thanks to those Governments which are working to alleviate the sufferings of these, our brothers and sisters in the human family, and I ask all Catholics for their prayers and support for their brethren in the faith who are victims of violence and intolerance. In this context, I have felt it particularly appropriate to share some reflections on religious freedom as the path to peace. It is painful to think that in some areas of the world it is impossible to profess one’s religion freely except at the risk of life and personal liberty. In other areas we see more subtle and sophisticated forms of prejudice and hostility towards believers and religious symbols. At present, Christians are the religious group which suffers most from persecution on account of its faith. Many Christians experience daily affronts and often live in fear because of their pursuit of truth, their faith in Jesus Christ and their heartfelt plea for respect for religious freedom. This situation is unacceptable, since it represents an insult to God and to human dignity; furthermore, it is a threat to security and peace, and an obstacle to the achievement of authentic and integral human development.[1]

Religious freedom expresses what is unique about the human person, for it allows us to direct our personal and social life to God, in whose light the identity, meaning and purpose of the person are fully understood. To deny or arbitrarily restrict this freedom is to foster a reductive vision of the human person; to eclipse the public role of religion is to create a society which is unjust, inasmuch as it fails to take account of the true nature of the human person; it is to stifle the growth of the authentic and lasting peace of the whole human family.

For this reason, I implore all men and women of good will to renew their commitment to building a world where all are free to profess their religion or faith, and to express their love of God with all their heart, with all their soul and with all their mind (cf. Mt 22:37). This is the sentiment which inspires and directs this Message for the XLIV World Day of Peace, devoted to the theme: Religious Freedom, the Path to Peace.

Response from a staunch Traditionalist point-of-view:
Yeah, this is why you will not be justified. What you are advocating is the current status of your version of Christianity on the same equal footing with false religions. You are playing with fire and tempting God. This is why people like you will not go to Heaven. You distort the true meaning of Christianity and the idea of freedom. For you and your apostate church, religious freedom implies that there is liberation of spirit and human nature in the exercise of false religions as well as Christianity. This is why people like you will burn in Hell for destroying the doctrine of Christ to apply for the practice of religious freedom for all people. You reject suffering and martyrdom. Like your heretical religion, you escape pains and punishment, corporal and spiritual, in order to satisfy your lust and desire for human sensibility and wants. That is why your church is literally destroying itself from top to bottom, because you have rejected God’s divine plan in human suffering and participation to Christ’s own life and passion from His members, and the necessity of the Catholic Church.

The world you are building is a world in which Christianity is not necessary in order to be saved. You deny and reject the necessity of Christ and the only means of salvation, since religious freedom implies the right of human conscience in practice and belief of idolatry and superstition. It will be the death and destruction of the doctrine of Christianity to become a generic form of religious movement of human existentialism, reducing it to a mere sentimental form of Christianity where false religions are encouraged and protected with the same rights and privileges.

I wouldn’t be surprised if one day your false church will advocate moral freedom for all people, “expresses what is unique about the human person, for it allows us to direct our personal and social life to God, in whose light the identity, meaning and purpose of the person are fully understood.”

Anathema to the spirit of religious pluralism, anathema to these human demons who walk upon the earth calling for the destruction of Christianity as the only means and true religion. Anathema!

on the Vatican II church, and no salvation outside the Catholic Church

Tuesday, November 16th, 2010

Benedict XVI, Zenit News story, Sept. 5, 2000: “[W]e are in agreement that a Jew, and this is true for believers of other religions, does not need to know or acknowledge Christ as the Son of God in order to be saved…”

—-,

Thank you for your recommendation, but I doubt that the parish priest knows the True Catholic Faith. Let me explain… we are living through the end times. What has happened to the Catholic Church is unthinkable. I have tried to reconcile with what has happened to the Church with the infallibility of the Church and have come to the conclusion that what we see today, in the ordinary parishes around the world, is not the Catholic Church in the strictest sense. They are literally building a New Church, one which does not profess the entire Catholic Faith. This cannot happen to the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church cannot give us errors or heresy, and She cannot lead us astray. I am confident that the local parish priest (while some of the newer priests may be conservative and well-meaning) does not believe in No Salvation Outside the Church dogma as professed for 2,000 years. What has happened at Vatican II Council is entirely contrary to the Will of God. One does not need to be a scholar or a theologian to see this. It just takes reason and common sense, and the grace of God. By their fruits you shall know them. Millions have lost the faith due to the Novus Ordo rising. The Islamic membership has risen above the membership of the Novus Ordo, and it is not even a true religion. What has happened to the Catholic Church since the Council is the destruction of the Catholic Church. They are breaking down (morally, doctrinally and architecturally) and tearing apart the Catholic institutions for ecumenical purposes, a conglomeration of different religious faiths and views. They are building a Church without dogma, discipline, Catholic morality, without a divine mandate, and without the True Faith.

Pope Pius IX, Vatican Council I, 1870, ex cathedra:
SO, THIS GIFT OF TRUTH AND A NEVER FAILING FAITH WAS DIVINELY CONFERRED UPON PETER AND HIS SUCCESSORS IN THIS CHAIR

Pope Pius IX, Vatican Council I, 1870, ex cathedra:
“… the See of St. Peter always remains unimpaired by any error, according to the divine promise of our Lord the Savior made to the chief of His disciples: ‘I have prayed for thee [Peter], that thy faith fail not’”

I know you will not be able to come to terms with what I am saying. I am not making this up. I have studied the situation and the problem of the Novus Ordo for over three years. I have read numerous books and have in possession dogmatic theology of the Catholic Church prior to Vatican II. It proves, without a shadow of a doubt, that in order to maintain the Novus Ordo as the Catholic Church, one has to trash the fundamental principles of dogmatic theology, including the definition of membership, visibility, and infallibility of the Church to justify the Novus Ordo as the Catholic Church. Just as the “Orthodox” broke away from the Church, but held onto the churches, the situation of the Novus Ordo is the same. What is being imposed on ordinary individual and faithful [sic] is a rip-off, watered-down version, laid-back, friendly faith where God is literally becoming human in sentiments and feelings. Truth is relative to the phenomenon and the personal experience of each individual in the Novus Ordo.

It is a self man-made religion.

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, Sess. 8, Nov. 22, 1439, ex cathedra: “Whoever wishes to be saved, needs above all to hold the Catholic faith; unless each one preserves this whole and inviolate, he will without a doubt perish in eternity.”

Pope Gregory XVI, Summo Iugiter Studio, May 27, 1832, on no salvation outside the Church: “You know how zealously Our predecessors taught that article of faith which these dare to deny, namely the necessity of the Catholic faith and of unity for salvation… Omitting other appropriate passages which are almost numberless in the writings of the Fathers, We shall praise St. Gregory the Great who expressly testifies that THIS IS INDEED THE TEACHING OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH. He says: ‘The holy universal Church teaches that it is not possible to worship God truly except in her and asserts that all who are outside of her will not be saved.’  Official acts of the Church proclaim the same dogma.  Thus, in the decree on faith which Innocent III published with the synod of Lateran IV, these things are written: ‘There is one universal Church of all the faithful outside of which no one is saved.’  Finally the same dogma is also expressly mentioned in the profession of faith proposed by the Apostolic See, not only that which all Latin churches use, but also that which… other Eastern Catholics use.  We did not mention these selected testimonies because We thought you were ignorant of that article of faith and in need of Our instruction.  Far be it from Us to have such an absurd and insulting suspicion about you.  But We are so concerned about this serious and well known dogma, which has been attacked with such remarkable audacity, that We could not restrain Our pen from reinforcing this truth with many testimonies.”

Pope Innocent III, Fourth Lateran Council, Constitution 1, 1215, ex cathedra: “There is indeed one universal Church of the faithful, outside of which nobody at all is saved, in which Jesus Christ is both priest and sacrifice.”

Pope Boniface VIII, Unam Sanctam, Nov. 18, 1302, ex cathedra: “With Faith urging us we are forced to believe and to hold the one, holy, Catholic Church and that, apostolic, and we firmly believe and simply confess this Church outside of which there is no salvation nor remission of sin… Furthermore, we declare, say, define, and proclaim to every human creature that they by absolute necessity for salvation are entirely subject to the Roman Pontiff.”

Pope Clement V, Council of Vienne, Decree # 30, 1311-1312, ex cathedra: “Since however there is for both regulars and seculars, for superiors and subjects, for exempt and non-exempt, one universal Church, outside of which there is no salvation, for all of whom there is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism…”

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, “Cantate Domino,” 1441, ex cathedra: “The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia produce eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

communicatio in sacris or just bad popes?

Tuesday, November 9th, 2010

Recently, an e-mail was sent to me by an individual who thinks that the argument of communicatio in sacris against Benedict XVI (or Conciliar Popes) is a falling house of cards, that is to say it doesn’t stand a chance in light of historical precedence. But you know what, who needs Benedict XVI or any Conciliar authorities to pray with non-Catholics, when everyone in the Novus Ordo does it at their own will? The fact that you needed the Pope’s permission, in extraordinary circumstance prior to Vatican II, to pray or communicate with in the sacred, with the schismatics is enough proof that the Church safeguards her integrity and her visibility against the religious indifferentism that we see today in the Conciliar Church and beyond.

The fact that there have been cases where the situation of the Catholic minority is in need of the Sacraments or the effort of the Church to bring the schismatics into the fold shows us prudence and governance in all things by the Church. How do the Novus Ordo explain praying with everyone else under the sun where true charity does not wander? The Muslims, the Jews, the pagans, and the witch-doctors? Think Assisi 1986, take down all the crucifixes in case of offense and put the Buddha on the tabernacle? When a pope is simply confirming religious errors and praying with these groups as if God desires spiritual communion with them, you know that he has changed his faith! It’s that simple. You flee the heresy and seek refuge with the True Faith. A person cannot accuse Catholic Popes of religious indifferentism or of apostasy because they let communicatio in sacris happen before with schismatic for their greater good and salvation. The argument doesn’t stand. But let us see what God says about bad popes (who have not compromised the doctrine of the faith– but have been morally corrupt).

Book 1 Chapter 41, Revelations of St. Bridget of Sweden  (1303 – d. 23 July 1373)

Our beloved Creator’s words in the presence of the heavenly host and the bride, in which he complains about five men signifying the pope and his clergy, the evil laity, the Jews and the heathens; and also about the help he sends to his friends, signifying all mankind, and about the harsh judgment he executes on his enemies.

“I am the Creator of all things. I was born of the Father before Lucifer. I am inseparably in the Father and the Father in me and one Spirit in us both. Accordingly, there is one God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and not three gods. I am the one who promised the eternal inheritance to Abraham and led my people out of Egypt through Moses. I am the one who spoke through the prophets. The Father sent me to the womb of the Virgin without separating himself from me but remaining inseparably with me so that mankind, who had abandoned God, would return to God through my love.

But now, in your presence, my heavenly host, although you see and know all things in me, yet for the sake of the knowledge and teaching of my bride standing here, who cannot understand spiritual things except through a corporal parable, I make a complaint before you over these five men who are standing here, for they provoke me to wrath in many ways. Just as I, once, in the Law, with the name of Israel, signified the whole Israelite nation, so now by these five men I signify every man in the world.

The first man signifies the leader of the Church and his priests; the second, the evil laity; the third, the Jews; the fourth, the heathens; and the fifth, my friends. But from you, Jew, I exclude all the Jews who are Christians in secret and who serve me secretly in a pure love, a right faith, and a perfect deed. And from you, heathen, I exclude all those who would gladly walk in the way of my commandments, if they only knew and were taught how they should walk and live, and who with their deeds do as much as they know and are able. These shall by no means be judged with you. I now complain over you, o head of my Church, who sit on my seat which I gave to Peter and his successors to sit on with a threefold dignity and power: First, so that they would have the power of binding and loosing souls from their sins. Second, so that they would open Heaven for the penitent. Third, so that that they would close Heaven to the damned and to those who despise my Law. But you, who should be healing souls and presenting them to me, you are in truth a murderer of souls. I appointed Peter as shepherd and guardian of my sheep. But you, however, scatter and wound them. You are worse than Lucifer. For he was envious of me and desired to kill none but me so that he could rule in my place. But you are so much worse, for you do not only kill me by driving me off from yourself by your bad deeds, but you also kill souls by your bad example. I redeemed the souls with my blood and entrusted them to you as to a faithful friend, but you deliver them back again to the enemy from whom I redeemed them. You are more unrighteous than Pilate. He judged no one else but me to death, but you not only judge me as if I were a powerless lord and worthy of no good thing, no, you also judge and condemn the souls of the innocent and let the guilty go free without any rebuke. You are more cruel than Judas who only sold me, but you not only sell me, but also the souls of my chosen men for your own shameful profit and vain name’s sake. You are more despicable than the Jews, for they only crucified my body, but you crucify and torture the souls of my chosen men for whom your malice and your sins are more bitter than from any wound from a sword. And so, since you are like Lucifer and more unrighteous than Pilate and more cruel than Judas and more despicable than the Jews, I complain over you with justice.

Then Our Lord said to Saint Peter: “You are the founder and defender of the faith and of my Church. While my host is listening, state the sentence of the five men!” Peter answered: “O Lord, all praise and honor to you, for the love you have shown to your earth. Blessed be you by all your host, for you allow us to see and know all things in you that have been and will be, and that is why we see and know all things in you. It is true justice that the first man who sits upon your seat, while having the deeds of Lucifer, should shamefully lose the seat he dared to sit on and become a partaker in the torment of Lucifer…”

Then our Lord answered: “I swear by God the Father, whose voice John the Baptist heard in the Jordan; I swear by the body which John baptized, saw, and touched in the Jordan; I swear by the Holy Spirit who revealed himself in the form of a dove at the Jordan, that I shall do justice with these five men.”

Then our Lord said to the first of these five men: “The sword of my severity will go into your body; it shall enter at the top of your head and penetrate you so deeply and violently that it can never be drawn out. Your chair will sink like a heavy stone and never stop before it comes to the lowest of depths. Your fingers, that is, your assistants and advisers, will burn in the inextinguishable sulfurous fire. Your arms, that is, your office-holders, who should have reached out for the help and benefit of souls but instead reached out for worldly honor and profit, will be judged to the torment and suffering of which David speaks: ‘His sons shall be fatherless and his wife a widow and others shall take his property.’ Who is ‘his wife’ if not the soul which shall be excluded from the glory of Heaven and be widowed and lose God? ‘His sons’, that is, the virtues they appeared to have, and my simple and humble men who were under them, shall be separated from them. Their honor and property will be given to others, and they will inherit eternal shame instead of their dignity and glory. Their headgear will sink down into the filth of hell, and they will never be able to get up out of it. Just as they rose above others through their honor and pride, so in hell they will sink so much deeper than others so that it will be impossible for them to ever stand up again. Their limbs, that is, all the priests who followed and helped them in wickedness, will be cut off from them and severed just like the wall that is torn down where not a single stone is left upon another stone and the cement no longer adheres to the stones. No mercy will come to them, for my love will never warm them nor restore or build them up into an eternal house in Heaven, but instead they shall be excluded from all good and endlessly tormented with their headmen and leaders.

Saint Bridget was canonized by Pope Boniface IX in the year 1391 and confirmed by Pope Martin V in the Council of Constance in the year 1415.
The Revelations of St. Bridget were accorded an exceptionally high degree of authenticity, authority and importance from an early date. Pope Gregory XI (1370-78) approved and confirmed them and judged them highly favorably, as did Boniface IX (1389-1404) in the papal Bull Ab origine mundi, par. 39 (7 Oct 1391). They were later examined at the Council of Constance (1414-18) and at the Council of Basel (1431-49), both judging them to be in conformity with the Catholic faith; The Revelations were also strongly defended by numerous highly regarded theologians, including Jean Gerson (1363-1429), Chancellor of the University of Paris and Cardinal Juan de Torquemada (1388-1468).

Benedict XVI promotes all religions in light of Vatican II

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

We saw this video from MHFM website and thought it is worth watching, to expose the religious pluralism of Benedict XVI and his promotion of false religions.

It’s disturbing how he is actually working against the salvation of souls by confirming the errors and lies of false religions and that everyone who professes a religion is working toward the divine in a different way. Anathema!

How evil are the times! There is absolutely no excuse for such novelty from a man who claims to be the head of God’s Church, the Catholic Church. Nowhere in history has the Church promoted such idea!

Vatican II Council teaches the greatness of false religionns, including Hinduism and Islam.

Declaration of the Relationship of the Church to Non-Christian Religions (Vatican Council II; October 28, 1965):

“From ancient times down to the present, there has existed among divers peoples a certain perception of the hidden power that hovers over the course of things and over the events of human life… Religions bound up with cultural advancement have struggled to reply to these questions with more refined concepts and in more highly developed language.

“Thus, in Hinduism men contemplate the divine mystery and express it through an inexhaustible fruitfulness of myths and a searching philosophical inquiry. They seek release from the anguish of our condition through ascetical practices or deep meditation or a loving, trusting flight toward God.”

furthermore

“Buddhism in its multiple forms acknowledges the radical insufficiency of this shifting world. It teaches a path by which men, in a devout and confident spirit, can either reach a state of absolute freedom or attain supreme enlightenment by their own efforts or by higher assistance.”

“Upon the Muslims, too, the Church looks with esteem… Though they do not acknowledge Jesus as God, they revere Him as a prophet.”

“The Catholic Church rejects nothing that is true and holy in these religions.”

in the footnote of the Declaration

“Through the centuries, however, missionaries often concluded that non-Christian religions are simply the work of Satan and that the missionaries’ task is to convert from error to knowledge of the truth. This Declaration marks an authoritative change in approach.”

Medjugorje and false ecumenism

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

It is without a doubt Medjugorje is a Novus Ordo counterpart of Fatima, an event marked by countless messages where is no end in sight from the Gospa. Medjugorje, like so many modern-day religious sites, promotes an ecumenical flavor of peace with a spiritual emphasis on prayers, penance, and Confession; what we have not had since the Second Vatican Council?

We have posted earlier on Medjugorje and the evidence that we do have suggests that Medjugorje is nothing short of a Novus Ordo popular phenomenon. Faith is no longer adhered from the acceptance of Tradition and authority, but rather is marked by signs and miracles from the above, all of which lead to doctrinal problems as well as pastoral.

Anything that is promoted and is feuled with spiritual fervor from the so-called Cardinal Schonborn is, at least, morally problematic for a True Catholic. For a True Catholic cannot promote an ecumenical movement other than the ecumenism of the return, as taught by the Catholic Church.

Which of them follow the prescription given by the Church prior to the Second Vatican Council? None. Because the teachings of the Catholic Church before are drastically different from the one that is advanced by Conciliar authorities in the Novus Ordo churches.

Do they still believe in the “Errors of the Ecumenical Movement”?

It’s time we let the True Catholic Church speaks:

The Catholic Church, although she does not take part in congresses and other conventions called “ecumenical,” yet has never ceased, as is clear from many Pontifical documents, nor will she in future ever cease, to follow with the most intense interest and to promote by earnest prayers to God, all efforts toward the attainment of what is so dear to the Heart of Christ Our Lord, namely, that all who believe in Him “may be made perfect in one.”

For she embraces with truly maternal affection all who return to her as the true Church of Christ; and hence, worthy of all. praise and encouragement are all those plans and projects which, with the consent of Ecclesiastical Authority, have been undertaken and are being carried forward, either for the proper Catholic instruction of future converts or for the more thorough training of persons already converted to the faith.
